since i've started reading cnn every other day or so, i've come to realise that my opinions on things just don't jive with those of much of the rest of the country... i'm consistently with the minority in their quickvote thingies.
not that this really surprises me that much.

I can't help but think that a lot of internet polls are rigged by a bunch of bored conservatives. Almost every poll I've seen -- even ones on gay, atehist, or liberal resource sites -- shows a strong favor toward the most conservative viewpoints.
I also can't help but think the media as a whole is controlled by a bunch of rich white guys who demand a conservative slant. Why else would there have been so much coverage of the fellatio incidents of the Clinton years, and vitually nothing critical of the current resident?

entirely possible. OTOH, the majority of internet users are white businessmen with nothing better to do at work.
i'm fairly sure that there's a little disclaimer on the CNN poll that says something to the effect of "this poll should not be taken as being indicative of the opinion of any group of people except the group of people who decided to vote in this poll."
