My first thought on the way home was "someone shaved their very thin corgi!" At second glance I'm pretty sure it was a dachshund/corgi cross. The internet tells me this is a "dorgi." I'm not sure whether I'm more disturbed that this exists at all, or that it exists enough that there's a name for it.

My sca friend Angustias has one of those. Mostly it just looks like a dachsund with a bit of the wider corgi skull. Don't think it was deliberate breeding though and she doesn't call him a dorgi (she calls him Leopold Stravinsky.)

Yeah, that's what most of the photos online are like. This one looked very much like, well, a small thin shaved corgi, coloration and pointy head & ears and all.

That is an excellent name. :)
