picked up talking heads' _Sand in the Vaseline_ and _Stop Making Sense_ right before origins. _Sense_ is a live album, and someone had put the version of "Burning Down the House" from it up on the work mp3 server, and it was really good, so i figured the rest would be good too. oops. oh well. _Sand_ is a good 2-disc collection, but Talking Heads just aren't one of my favorites. it's nice to have a copy of "And She Was", though.

dar williams, on the other hand, i am duly impressed with. i got _Mortal City_ yesterday for 55 cents plus four or five discs I don't listen to anymore. i am now about halfway through the first track and very very happy with my purchase.

reminds me a bit of Carbon Leaf, only with better voice. and now into the next song, better music too. thank you, sarah and scott and steph.
