. . . okay, Firefox 2 is teh win. When I minimize it, it goes to the back of my list of apps in the alt-tab menu. Angels are rejoicing over this simple bug-fix.

I'm going to want something to do on Monday. I can tell. So, from [livejournal.com profile] sir_alf and [livejournal.com profile] vvalkyri:

If you ask me, I'll:
1) Tell you why I friended you or make up something entertaining and plausible, at least.
2) Associate you with a song/movie.
3) Tell a random fact about you.
4) Tell my first memory of you.
5) Associate you with an animal/fruit or other odd item.
6) Ask something I've always wanted to know about you.
7) Tell you my favorite user pic of yours.
8) Tell you something I like about you.

(I'm unlikely to get to any of these before Monday, and guaranteed to not get to them before Sunday afternoon.)

6)Why did you leave Aiken in the first place?

I wanted out of Aiken pretty much after I was 12. There was not a lot there and while I was okay with it at the time, I wanted to see the world. I didn't expect to stick around. I mean, the population is about the same as Tech. Not B'burg, tech.

The thing that actually got me out was the Church. On my 20th birthday I moved with 3 other guys to Columbia, SC to go to an Angilcan (sort of conservative Episcopal) church there. I'd converted not too long before and it seemed like a good idea at the time.

But conversion or no conversion, I wasn't going to live and die in that town without getting out. It's unlikely I'll live there again, but I'm not going to tempt fate by saying it would be impossible.

Peace.
