Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Poet. Brilliant.
But at my back from time to time I hear
The sound of wings and gryffins, which shall bring
Sirius to Mr. Potter in the spring.

Ratatosk, the squirrel tale-bearer: a very well-done one-page comic about a squirrel.

Balloon Dreams: a longer but still very well-done comic, this time about, er, a guy in a balloon.

Part of the reason I'll read anything John M. Ford writes is his ability to just toss off lines like "Balaclava: The Empire Strikes Back to Highly Questionable Effect."
