I'd have to say silmaril, but neither really exhibit any definitely sidekickish qualities. It'd be more like Batman and Superman, where they just constantly grate on each other and occasionally beat each other up.

No more than three years, but not much less than that.

How do you find these Tales of Interest? I used to run across these sort of things on the web, but now I can't even remember how that happened.

I'm having Issues running it at higher than 640x480; I suspect my graphics card is trying to give up the ghost.

Ur-Quan Masters has issues on most systems. It runs slow even on my AMD 3200+, 1GB ram, ATI 9800XT 256MB system. I think they are doing some on the fly conversion that is very cpu intensive and that slows it down.

Though to be truthful I haven't tried any of the latest builds.....the last one I tried was a version from about a year ago. build 0.20 or such I think.
