Great Moments in History 1787: God Writes the Constitution: "Thus a man whose essence is comprised primarily of phosphorpous receives half the legislative representation of a man whose spirit is made of zinc!"

Because it's been too long since I've plugged Hitherby Dragons: The Sifter. As Richard Feynman once said, "You remember that experiment with the two holes? It's the same thing."

Fantasy Flight has all the good games, and they all seem to be coming out this year. I'm especially looking forward to Ingenious (Einfach Genial), Deluxe Lord of the Rings: The Confrontation, the Storm of Swords expansion for the Boardgame of Thrones, and the as-yet-untitled Doom expansion. Beowulf also sounds cool, and if I had time to play it I'd want War of the Ring too. (Plus, more plastic candy camels!)

And today floats balanced between the death of C.I. Caesar and the feast of Padraig. I feel like I ought to say something about balance or redemption, but it's bloody snowing again and I can't quite muster up the energy. Bits and pieces of thought fall to the ground and melt, and the earth becomes infinitesimally colder. Also, design lab calls.

Descent: Journeys in the Dark sounds like it might be MK: Dungeons without that icky MK flavor. That would have much nift.
Argo also sounds interesting, and the high hexagon content of Ingenious immediately makes it attractive to me.
I believe Greg Dean of Real Life Comics said it better than I could about the World of Warcraft board game though. If only his archives were up, I would show you.
