Thursday night I was accosted in IHOP by an eighth-grader who wanted to discuss Lois Lowry's The Giver. We chatted briefly and she left. Five minutes later she came back to talk about abortion.

Friday night I received the following text-message on my phone:
A yo ashley can
we get dat bang
bang
please

Saturday night I went to see Kung Fu Hustle. This was easily the most utterly random film I have ever seen, and I saw Kung Pow: Enter the Fist.

Life has certainly been interesting lately.

Check out Ong-bak: Thai Warrior (I think that's how it's spelled.) It's got some Jackie Chan stylings to it, while still being a good old-fashion martial arts film. I just saw it tonight at the local cinema.
