Watched The Sting last night. (1973, like I thought.) Excellent movie. It's not deep cinema, but it's a lot of fun and has a few good twists. Well written, spectacularly acted.
Other than that, life goes on.

There are a lot of people who are both educated, well-spoken, and have held down real jobs. Look at the (oh god, a democrat) state governor, for example. Regarding Iraq, I'd be happier if the government would just present the evidence (I really want to believe) they have and justify themselves. Surely that kind of evidence isn't a security risk anymore.

On the other hand, I certainly think that Iraq and the entire world will be a better place with Saddam deposed, and hopefully tried, convicted and locked up to suffer alone for the rest of his life.
