Requiem for Boddy: "But the surgeon’s hand slipped at a critical moment, and when I heard the buzzer I knew we had lost him."

Beat the Devil, the last film in Season 2 of The Hire, went live today. Costarring Gary Oldman as the Devil (that *really* should have been David Bowie, but Oldman does a great job) and The Hardest-Working Man In Show Business as himself. It really has to be seen to be believed. I think it's the best of the eight films, although Ambush is 'purer.'

Unrelated, but if you go edit your user info and change the encoding options at the bottom to Windows (Western European) or whatever exactly that first option is, the character between "surgeon" and "s" will probably show up in this post. :)

Well, it seems to be a nonstandard apostrophe-- ’ instead of '. UTF-8 encoding tends to not display non-standard-ASCII characters unless you have the encoding set to something. :)

And when my comment got back to me by email, both looked like standard apostophes. Fun!
