a very, very important item from my list:

9. Finally get around to plowing through my backlog of books, like Perez-Reverte's The Fencing Master, Pynchon's Mason & Dixon (picked that one up for $5... made my day), the Gormenghast trilogy, and The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay.
(Any others I should add to the queue?)

not exactly edifying reading, but good nonetheless. :)

And reading the Miles Vorkosigan series. Ummm... Painting some of my orks or humans or goblins is always nice, too. ;-)
