my bike has been stolen. you'd think i'd be really, really upset about this. to tell the truth, i'm sort of relieved. it was more a burden than anything, really. i may switch to blades or a scooter or something at some point, but the bicycle was a pain. in poor shape, and campus is hardly conducive to bicyclists.
i'm irritated at losing the taillight, though.
gah. need sleep. need to kill downstairs neighbors. and upstairs, while i'm at it.

been playing Max Payne, which is almost a boring shooter, except that it's got a good storyline and Bullet Time, which means that i can do like keanu in The Matrix and slow time down enough to dodge bullets and aim better. very cool. plus one of the occult books in someone's library was De Umbrarum Regnis Noven Portis (read The Club Dumas, or, less good, see The Ninth Gate), which is just too cool. i highly recommend this game.

Heh.. I had two bikes stolen during my time as an undergrad at Cornell.. both times my fault inasmuch as it wasn't properly locked up, but both times my parents' homeowners insurance covered it and I ended up with a better bike out of the deal. :)
Now, the insurance no longer covers that, and it's locked up whenever it's not in my sight. :)
