That is in fact what it did! The Turbo drained the battery in like five seconds tops. Though by the time the main battery was running for like two minutes max, the vacuum wouldn't even turn on if the Turbo was on. Took some fiddling to get it to turn the Turbo off so I could use it at all.

Good luck with it! They have basically doubled in price since I bought mine, which is frustrating.
