This is hilarious. Especially if you've ever tried to install hardware under Windoze.

Seen that before, but usually it didn't take much work to convince the computer that it wasn't a RealTek upon supplying the right drivers.. some cards just want to autodetect as RealTek. Not sure whose fault that is.
