The worst part of transitory housing is not having access to my books.

For instance: Maggie Ronald posts that her presumably adorable daughter is singing "It All Goes Around", which of course gets it stuck in my head. And now I badly want to reread the Radch books, particularly since Ann Leckie has another coming out late this month.

Bah.

Oh, gosh, where is Maggie Ronald posting these days?

(I had grand plans to teach my child Alma Redemtoris Mater & set her loose to sing it at SCA events to see how many people got the Chaucer joke, but since she continues to possess absolutely no concept of intonation & I don't want anyone to actually murder her, I've given up on that plan.)

Facebook ( :( ), but not often ( :( :( ). After the past year I have a lot more sympathy for people who vanish into a new relationship, especially when that relationship is as demanding as parent-tinyhuman, but it still makes me sad.
