read some Yeats last night. it's been awhile since i've read good poetry. i'm still most moved by "september 1913" and _michael robartes and the dancer_ (especially "easter 1916").

They weighed so lightly what they gave,
But let them be, they're dead and gone,
They're with O'Leary in the grave.

sweet music indeed. he's a completely different feel from eliot... eliot i can only read sometimes. yeats is much easier to get into, because the music just wraps around and pulls you in.

(my chances to write email during the week are limited, and last night i watched _the muppet movie_ instead of sitting at my puter.)
