Your Ability to Can Even: A Defense of Internet Linguistics: "Sometimes 'AODEHwhddhwdwebw' is far more eloquent than saying 'I'm so overtaken with emotion, I can barely type so I smashed the keyboard with my forehead.'"

So these two planes collided in midair, but they were full of skydivers so everyone is okay.

Captain Justice Responds to Government's Motion to Ban the Word "Government": "Along these same lines, even the term 'defense' does not sound very likeable.... [T]he opposition to the Plaintiff hereby names itself 'the Resistance.'"

I was talking about that story the other day with my pilot friend: I wouldn't go so far as to say everyone was okay. See, the main reason that people fly skydivers is to build up flight hours for a future airline career. And flying in formation, when you can't see the other plane, is not something the FAA looks kindly on. So these two pilots, their careers are basically over. They'll almost certainly lose their licenses.

I can't tell if you are being deliberately (or accidentally) elliptical, or are referring to the article in The Atlantic calling "because" a new English preposition.

Internet language O Snap! Critics of Internet language owe a letter of apology to George Orwell, who (along with Ayn Rand, Ronald Reagan, and Jesus Christ) belongs to an exclusive club of people who are conveniently reanimated whenever someone wants to win an argument without actually being clever.

Also, cool article about Mavis Batey!
