Good things from the weekend. In list format, because sometimes one needs that.
- French toast made for me by
uilos. - Hanging out with semilocal J-- et al for much of yesterday.
- Wading in the ocean and clambering on rocks.
- Kai going over to curl up next to Chaos and the ensuing mutual grooming session.
- The Bill Reid Gallery, a Pac-NW First Nations art gallery stuck back in a calm quiet courtyard just off Georgia Street in the middle of downtown. Actually I have no idea if the gallery's any good, I didn't feel like paying the $10 admission fee and wanted to get home. The courtyard was a pleasant discovery, though.
- Coke Slurpees.
- Among Others winning a Hugo.
- The PNE, which I take it is some sort of amusement park, although that's not 'til tomorrow.
- Friends who think of me and send a message saying so.

Date: 2012-09-04 04:04 pm (UTC)I'm not even sure if it qualifies as "ocean" except for being salty. Vancouver's protected from the worst of the northern weather by Vancouver Island, and the downtown beaches are all on Burrard Inlet, so they're pretty shallow. It was decently chilly; I was tempted to go swimming.
