Ah, okay. I can understand not wanting to do that; makes the active/inactive tab have a consistent number of characters. The fading thing may or not have been a good replacement.

Staying away from FF4 is probably for the best. So far my reactions to its interface changes have ranged from "...huh" to "ugh."
