Seen around my reading lists lately:

Look to your right. Whatever object you see there is your designated weapon in the upcoming Zombie Apocalypse! Comment on this post to tell me what it is, then repost to spread the zombie virus.

Um. Depending on whether you go by 'angle' or 'distance,' it's either my plastic watering can or my lucky bamboo. Which I guess means that I'm in Plants Vs Zombies.

How far to the right are we talking? Rotating eastward from North (straight ahead), the nearest object is:

1) The rightmost portion of the computer screen.
2) A stack of business cards and receipts
3) A sewing machine
4) A half-empty small format can of Sprite
5) A disused mousepad
6) The soft cover for the MBP
7) A pair of scissors
8) A stack of paper napkins (I need to clear off the desk. One might count the desk as items 1-8)
9) A power strip with various cords plugged into it.
10) A closet door
11) A cardboard box containing another cardboard box.

That takes us to 90 degrees (East, 3:00, whatever you like). Past that is:

12) A two-shelf bookcase containing various of Kate's crafting supplies (neatly organized) and topped with stacks of un-filed papers, a disused electronic picture frame, and a cardboard box containing another cardboard box.
13) A toy train
14) A four foot level/ruler
15) A bag full of crafts for David's pre-school's Fall Festival
16) A cardboard box containing several other cardboard boxes
17) Another bag full of crafts for David's pre-school's Fall Festival
18) The built-in shelves/desk containing more crafting supplies and stacks of unfiled papers.

That brings us to 180 degrees. I think beyond that counts as "left", so I'll stop. If I get to chose, I'll rotate about 110 degrees and take the level. It's got reach and it's made of rather robust-looking plastic. And it came with the house.
