Things that are no longer remarkable enough to write about but that nonetheless deserve a brief mention:

• Snow, which happened last weekend and will be happening again very shortly.
  
• Personal angst, which continues to consume me at irregular moments.
  
• The hot water heater, which died last week and then again on Tuesday night, making a total of three times this year.
  
• The iPad, the recent #amazonfail, and the impending death by a thousand cuts of health care reform, all of which have been covered in exhaustive detail by other people.
