Came home yesterday to a pile of sawdust on the kitchen floor and a microwave and cabinet over the stove. Looks like they ripped the setup out of my old apartment and installed it, to go with the stove from my old apartment. I'm mildly disturbed by this. I guess I can stop by the old apartment whenever someone new moves in there and mention that their stove is crap. On the other hand, they'll find out sooner or later on their own.

A big huzzah to everyone who came out for Labor Day gaming, including those from ABG who showed up earlier than expected (and stayed later than was perhaps wise on a morning when we had to get up to go to work). Good gaming, good friends, good times.

Up next we do it all over again, only with more wall art and fewer boxes. Satyrday the 6th of September, twoish to whenever, show up anytime. This one's technically the real housewarming. I'm not sure what that actually means, except that we have to be Really Moved In by that point. More gaming, more food (rumors of grilled burgers and veggie-equivalents abound), more fun, slightly different people. Hope to see you there.

Don't think I'm going to make this one, sadly. I need to cover for someone at work on Sunday, so the chores I would have done Sunday must be done on Saturday. I might be able to get them done in time to stop by. But knowing me, I'd doubt it.
