Note to self: if I have not cleaned the bathroom in a few months, the statement "I can't see any soap scum in the tub" is not a testament to the miraculous antiseptic powers of my bathroom. Rather, it is an indication that when I am in the shower I don't usually have my glasses on. Yeesh. I may have to scrub the bathroom again today just to make sure I got everything.

Note to self: Keep glasses off. Place is much cleaner that way. ;)

My mom swears by those Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner things.

Ahaha, I cleaned the tub for my near-legally-blind mother a couple years back, when Dad's back was acting up. Her excuse for the tub being grey was the whole glasses bit. LIES, Mom. You can still see COLORS in those blur-clouds.

I had the same problem with my shower until the laser-powered eyeballs.

One day, [livejournal.com profile] speedlime comes to me and says, "Hey, [livejournal.com profile] heptadecagram, don't use your shower until the repairman can fix the floor in it. Use mine instead." "Fix the floor?" "You didn't notice the fact that the floor of your shower is only attached on one side to the wall, and there's a gaping 3-inch space around the rest of it through which I can see the crawlspace?"

I had trouble seeing my face in the mirror without glasses, my feet were a whole other story.

I'd have to second the Scrubbing Bubbles testimonial. The product that is an aerosol-based foam is just a miracle in a can.

Yeah. That sounds about right.
