The cover art for Sethra, in which we discover that "dagger" really means "honking large sword with weird flamberge-like flourishes on the bottom half of the blade."

Don't forget that we also learn that dressing like a Lavode means wearing a very white shirt with your black pants. But, then, I've just accepted that Brust is never going to get a cover artist who actually has read enough of the book, much less the series, to know what's going on.
