Mar. 1st, 2003 11:57 amI'm certain it seemed like a good idea to wrap up the current Changeling arc last night. K's going to be out of town on Tuesday, so no game then, and LisaNeil were gone to NoVa to shop with Patrick, so it's not like we were keeping them up late. I somehow failed to remember that A) I closed last night, so we weren't going to get started 'til ten (didn't actually start 'til 10:30, but that's okay) and B) I have to drive to NoVa today. Whoops.
So, the characters met the Car and were amused[1], actually didn't burn down the mental institution on their way out (which reminds me: everyone gets an extra XP for showing wisdom and discretion in neither killing anyone nor doing any property damage; all you've got for now are the kidnapping and assault charges), and more or less did what they set out to do. Up next is probably an excursion into the Dreaming to finish the quest for the boy's soul...
Overall, I've enjoyed the game, and the plot is wide open enough at this point that I'd be willing to continue running it if that's what the Tuesday Night Music Club wants to do.
And in an hour or so I'm off to spend a couple days with my parents and see the new church sanctuary. Yay fun. I'm a bit tired, but not too badly off.
[1] I'm rather proud of the Car, myself. It's a beat-up '73 lime green Dodge Dart. It has Things in the trunk that make noise but aren't there when you look in it (unless they decide they like you) and so much junk on the floorboard in the back seat that you might find anything down there. (Wits + Kenning, dif depending on the item in question.) It growls and belches fire from its tailpipe. It's got personality.

Date: 2003-03-08 07:58 am (UTC)Hey, Darts are cool. One of my cooler ex-coworkers had an olive one. Ran better than her Camaro. (Especially after a deer tried to hitch a ride in the Camaro.)
