This is one of those mixed-moods things.

On the one hand, it's been a bad year.

On the other, Technicon got Steven Brust.

You know what would be funny?

TCon people keep calling him Steven "Bruhst", as opposed to "Broost", and they found that he lives in a different place than they thought he did. I think it would be highly amusing if they actually got a different person, and just thought he was Brust. We would pay a whole lot of money for his plane ticket and everything, and he'd show up and be just some random guy...
On the other hand, maybe that wouldn't be funny.
