Another slow weekend. I consider this to be a Good Thing, since life gets busy from now on.
Much playing of Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising. It's a pretty cool game. Sort of like an RTS, more like a 3PS. Only instead of controlling a guy, you're controlling a vehicle. And ordering other vehicles around at the same time.
Arguably the coolest thing about the game is the personalities of the people in the vehicles. Thanks to SoulCatcher technology, they're all digital copies of dead soldiers. And if you try to put them in a vehicle other than their specialty, they bitch at you. Like Ransom, the helicopter pilot, when he gets put in a ground vehicle: "I'm an aviator. A-VI-AT-OR." Or Patton, in anything other than a ground vehicle: "Son... Ah drive tanks." Unless he's really annoyed, when it's "Somebody tell this boy who Ah am!"
Had a few people over Satyrday night, which was fun. Played Ta Yu and Settlers. I definitely prefer dealing with fewer people at once.
And class starts in an hour. Renaissance Lit, with Modern Drama tomorrow. I really have no idea whether I can manage two classes plus work plus other stuff. Only one way to find out...

he has a point. if you put him in anything that moves in less than three dimentions, he'll have problems. if i've just been flying for the past few hours, it takes a few minutes for me to get used to my truck again, because i'm not used to moving in only two dimentions, and not being able to move around all three of my vehicle's axes. :)
