YEP YEP. Though at the point where it's "how many children" you are, to quote Winston Churchill being a jackass, just haggling over the price. Which is of course Novik's point.

For me partly it was the voice and partly the "goddammit i am going to do the right thing but i will be MAD about it" attitude.
