Date: 2023-12-21 12:29 pm (UTC)Your description of "unpleasant" helps provide context for the tasks where I aid my getting them done by saying aloud "this sucks and I hate it" on a running loop while doing the task. (It doesn't work on things I always hate, but it helps with things that are intermittently awful, like dishes)
