I love Night in the Lonesome October but (despite trying to write a larp using it) I don't think I've ever given it as much respect as And Call Me Conrad or Creatures of Light and Darkness.

As far as read aloud...yeah, he's really good. For a Breath I Tarry is amazing as a read-aloud story.
