as soon as everyone leaves for dinner, i finish compiling and start finding medium-to-large bugs. grr. i guess i ought to feel obligated to stay here, so they can try to fix them tonight.
on the other hand, they're not really paying me enough for that kind of dedication.
on the third, or 'gripping,' hand, i've still got two unsolved puzzles in this week's instalment of Planetarium, a fairly cool puzzle-story. the plot is only so compelling, but the writing is generally pretty good, and the puzzles (three a week, of which on average one has been easy, one has required about ten minutes of thought, and one has been somewhat difficult) are a lot of fun. even if one of them _is_ the Bridges of Konigsberg (well, not exactly, but close enough).
hrm. actually, i can do one of them with some simple geometry. volume of a sphere is 4/3 pi r**3, yesno?
