I meant to write more when I got back from Vancouver last, and I've not done that. There's a lot I've not done.

Things are rattling around in my head. I guess I got the storytelling bug again after reading the Jacob's Ladder books, and it's not gone away. Bits of Drowned City (my barely-begun novel) keep popping up. I'd like to run a game again, too, though I don't even know what I'd run. That's more a sense of wanting to do /something/, not any specific thing.

I just finished reading a skiffy romantic webcomic, Always Human, based on James's mildly spoilery review. It is sweet and wonderful and made me smile a lot and the throwaway bit with the teddy bear made me cry, which isn't to say that the rest didn't. Recommended.

How did you like the Jacob's Ladder books?

This was a first reread (I read them when they were published, a decade ago). I like them well enough! The plotting is pretty shaky but I loved the worldbuilding and I liked the characters. They're sticking around.
