Re link #2: It's not just women. I know we culturally silence women -- but men (or at least I) tend to get into a habit growing up of masturbating--and thus experience sexual pleasure--in silence, surrounded by family and judgement and lack of privacy. And that's even before we get into men and tears. Going from there to letting pleasure and feeling express itself in noise takes some effort, but is definately worth it.

Yeah, no kidding. Not to mention the general "men don't express their feelings" thing. Where sex is more of a sensation than an emotion, but the principle still applies. :/
