um. it's been a slow week. did very little at work, but i got to sit around for long periods of time while not doing it.
game day was on satyrday. a bunch of people from Spiel went over to squires student centre and played games all day. fun, but not really conducive to getting anything useful done. i got to play _space hulk_, though.
sunday dave and kayla and emily and i went out to Ironto (pronounced "middle of nowhere") to have dinner with a friend of kayla's. *shrug* it was okay, i guess. it reinforced my lack of desire to talk to people i know absolutely nothing about.

i read 200 pages of foucault's pendulum yesterday, too. fear me. i'd forgotten how _good_ that book is. templars and rosicrucians and Brazilian religious rituals... cretins, morons, fools, and lunatics... and my favorite line of all: "They couldn't see the similarities between the philosopher's stone and Firestone."

sarah: um. i haven't quite figured out what i'm doing on sunday yet... i shall have to consult with my entourage. they might be hip with renfesting, though.

and now i am at work. whee.
