Yeah, Chapala is the next town or two over from Ajijic. No point in recommending it for the climate for you :) but at least for me the landscape and sun make it well worth a visit.

I really don't know! I'm hoping the week of light and no-work has been more recharging, and less drowning-man-clinging. Ask me again in a week.
