Flight and car rental booked for early-November DC trip.

11/2: Arrive Seattle for an unspecified amount of time[*]. Fly out of Seatac in the evening.
11/3: Arrive DCA far too early in the morning, acquire rental car, drive to parents' place in Burke. Free, but with jetlag brain. Crash early.
11/4: [livejournal.com profile] jpenamelist for an unspecified amount of time. Possibly other things?
11/5: Free.
11/6-8: Working from work. Evenings free; possibly attempting Cat Vacuuming evening of 11/7.
11/9: Arlington Board Gamers.
11/10: Free; dinner with parents in the evening.
11/11: Get up too early to drive to DCA and fly to Seattle. Bum around Seattle for the afternoon. Meet [personal profile] uilos for Scott Lynch's reading at the University Bookstore in the evening. Go home.

If you're in the DC area, available during that week, and interested in hanging out, let me know.

Note that this is a solo trip, as [personal profile] uilos is unable to get time off from work.

[*] Either by train or Bolt-type bus, uncertain which. Train is much more awesome, but a) slightly more expensive, and b) departs at 6:40 AM, which means c) it arrives in Seattle at 11:40 AM, leaving me to bum around with a suitcase until my 9:30 PM flight.

We are still TBD on whether we'll be in San Francisco-ish that week. Will get back to you; if we're not going (or grauwulf is going on his own, dependent on airfare once he gets actual travel dates) we'll try to get down VA-wards.

Phoey on E's work.

Ok! We (M & I) are not going to CA, and that's the next week anyway. We might be going to visit in-laws on the 3/4th weekend, but we're still trying to track them down. Daytime on the 5th we could totally do in any case, or lunch somewhere Tysons-ish either the 6th or 7th. If your 5th is still free & you want to come up here, we'd be happy to have you over for dinner (though meals with baby are a little... informal at times) to include grauwulf as well, and allow you as much non-traffic window as you'd like. If we are doing the driving, daylight is strongly preferred, as M experiences a transformation rather like that of the town in Wishbringer when the sun goes down-- before dark she loves being in the car, and after she screams her poor little head off if I can't sit in the back next to her.

Thoughts?
