I've found Twitter to be, mm, less teeth-clenchingly infuriating than Facebook. Mostly because I like the people I follow on Twitter whereas the folk on Facebook are often either family, or friends I didn't realise were some flavour of disagreeable. It's still a machine-gun of one-liners, though.
