I'll agree with the State Bird Improvements guy about Florida, but fuck him for wanting to replace the Cactus Wren as Arizona's state bird. It nests in cholla and saguaros! You couldn't ask for something more iconic. It's not a bit boring, either -- it's fine and spotty and has tons of personality.

Okay, I'll also agree with him that Minnesota's Common Loon is a fine choice. Especially appropriate as the logo of the state lottery.
