I was hoping. I mean, people who know about such things keep gushing over how the FF RPGs have such wonderfully detailed plots. And it was looking okay until Aki and Donald Sutherland sat down and had their talk. (sigh)
It gets huge kudos for me for Aki's half-smile as she's walking out of the spirit-checking center towards the beginning. The bird was fairly keen, too.

I've only seen _Planet_ once. Although that's really all you need to see it. They've got all six of them on DVD at Blockbuster... :)
