the mail mus' go thru
Sep. 18th, 2012 10:20 pmI like sending letters. I like getting letters too, but there's not so much I can do for that.
However! I expect other people like getting letters as well. And I like the idea of keeping the post office in business, for reasons I am happy to rant at you about if needed.
Therefore, I am happy to send mail to people, provided they're willing to do the same. To get mail from me, all you have to do is:
1) Post your mailing address in comments below (comments are screened). I may already have your address, but putting it in comments here ensures that I'll have a ready-made checklist so I won't miss anybody.
2) Post a similar offer in your journal (or on Facebook, or wherever). Feel free to limit it to the first five or ten or whatever if you fear being overwhelmed by the need to send letters.
3) Await an envelope from far-off Canadia.
That's it!
(I am aware of Postcrossing, but I haven't gotten around to doing anything with it since signing up in mid-March.)
