Jo Walton has nice things to say about Metropolitan and City On Fire. In my dream world, Walter Jon Williams and Bill Schafer of Subterranean Press team up to offer gorgeous new editions of all three books, including the unwritten final volume.
Sitting and Standing at Work, an opposing viewpoint. "Sit to do computer work.... [E]very 20 minutes stand for 2 minutes AND MOVE." Eh. I'm a stand-up guy because I hate trying to get an office chair and keyboard tray and all that to the right position, and because if I'm sitting down I don't move. And I've not found my typing speed or accuracy to be notably worse while standing.
