Neil will be in town on sunday and monday, and I'm going to hear him read and get my very own copy signed in person, as well as my copy of the comic of _The Tempest_ and perhaps also my copy of the last temptation or brief lives, whichever I decide upon on sunday morning. :) I'm gonna meet neil gaiman! and I'm going with sean who already kind of knows him, so it's gonna be GOOD.

It's the one-off comic he did starring Alice Cooper -- the one I picked up at that comic/gaming store when I was home for christmas.

I guess I too will be home sometime in August. :)
Probably late August, since it looks like I'm going north the last weekend in July for a LARP that a friend of the Looneys is doing.

_American Gods_ reminded me a lot of both Douglas Adams's _Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul_ and Tim Powers's _Last Call_. It was pretty good. I was happy with it.
