Ooh, hidey-Dock, I'd forgotten about that. I don't think I'll be using it (for now I'm leaving the System Monitor in the Dock and active, out of long-standing habit) but it's nice to have the option.

That... makes a lot of sense. Huh. I guess the corresponding argument for dock-left is that's where all the menus are, or at least where they start.
