Jun. 11th, 2001 07:41 pmwork is okay. i haven't really got anything to do, because everyone is running around getting ready for a big conference that starts this weekend, so i have to keep myself busy. i'm currently teaching myself perl, because i can. it's a neat little language.
i failed to completely fill up one of my contact cases with saline a couple nights ago, and when i went to get my contact out the next morning part of it was solidified. so i let it soak for a day or so and then tried to put it in. it's still a little fuzzy. i needed new contacts anyway, though.
mo and tony are getting married this weekend. who'd a thunk it. especially thinking about senior year.
that way lies madness. nevermind.
i have a car. it's a boxy white mazda named Glyndwr (pron. "Glen-dooer" for you uncultured english devils) with a so-so sound system and some "cute" quirks, like not dinging when i leave the lights on. it will get me places. ideally i'll be able to replace it with a brand-new car in three years.
eventually i need to empty all the random crap out of the boxes in my floor. in time, in time.
i finally got around to updating the book list. everyone should read john myers myers's silverlock. it's just too cool.
