electricity is weird

We lost around two-thirds of our power last night. That is, the kitchen stayed on, as did one of the outlets in
uilos's bedroom (I know this because it's the outlet I was using to charge the Device). Everything else: den, hall, bedrooms, bathrooms. . . no juice. I didn't check the dining room so I don't know if it was out as well.
Honestly, having that one outlet in the bedroom still going disturbs me more than having the kitchen stay on. Very odd.
On the bright side, power came back in time for the air conditioning to kick into gear before breakfast. Also, there was about a ten-degree difference between the dining room (lots of poorly-insulated windows, right in the sun) and the back rooms (shades drawn, fewer windows).
Ick.
