It's worth it. If only for the sake of the predictable miracles of spring, it's worth it.

In my experience spring is filled with unpredictable messes.

. . . I think that must be what's got me so rattled. There wasn't anything even slightly wrong about this spring, and for the first time since high school February wasn't made of badness and/or confusion. Instead it's all snuck up on me in the fall, which is supposed to be a season of happy crunchy leaves and crisp weather and renewal.
