In literal weather terms I am hardly going to argue with you. This has been a pretty awesome winter and pre-winter so far and August is always miserable.

Metaphorically. . . heck, even metaphorically this is better than August, in my own odd cosmology. August is a time for nervously awaiting the results of the changes from earlier in the summer.
