It felt, briefly, like autumn. I'm told it felt more like autumn during the week I was in Washington state. Now it's back to feeling like the last clawing grasp of summer.

The pagan/seasonal calendar is a big honkin' mystery to me. Seasons feel like they start at the beginning of the month that contains their equinox/solstice. Or ought to, anyway. Summer starts at the beginning of June, fall in September, winter in December, and spring in March. Of course, this presupposes a summer that doesn't start in May and run through to October.
