Words are inadequate

These are utterly reasonable suggestions that are unlikely to work, because the underlying problem this time is in the nature of 'i'm not doing enough interesting things with my life.' And when I get in one of those moods it's really bloody difficult to dispel it, because I lack the energy to get up and /do/ anything interesting (witness last night's inability to write).

Honestly, all I want to do is lock myself in a room and play video games for a day. I'd do it, too, except that I know I'll still feel like this when I come out, with the added bonus of knowing I've not done anything to deal with the actual problem.
