My airport tales of delay and misrouting all involve O'Hare in some way. Lost luggage either didn't follow me here, or went through here when it shouldn't have. Late flights are all to or from.

It's not such a bad airport. Not as ill-designed as Dulles, or as ill-executed as LAX. Just. . . long.

Which is a roundabout way of saying that after arriving early, and even being rerouted to the same terminal as my connecting flight, I'm now stuck waiting for a plane that's half an hour late and counting.

Maybe O'Purgatory would be a better name.

I dunno, I'd rather be stuck in an airport than stuck in an airplane anyday. Crossing the Pacific was bad, but the really bad time was getting stuck on the tarmac in a turboprop for over 3 hours after landing at PHL on a business trip... I've never gone in or out of PHL without a delay, and it's always IN the plane.

I'm heading there tomorrow - so far they have examined the cheese I brought back from WI, lost my luggage, and had a 4 hr delay getting home (I was lucky - 600 flights were cancelled that day)

*hugs* hopefully you won't be thre around noon tomorrow!

I hope you get out of there. I will fly *anywhere* to not have to go through O'Hare.... evil black hole of an airport. Chicago is a great city, but O'Hare is cursed.
